Dual Credit Programs
Dual Credit provides students with the potential to earn high school and college credit at the same time through successful completion of a course and/or corresponding exam.
Skill Centers are an integral part of an overall expansion of CTE programming in Washington. Skill centers are regional secondary schools that serve high school students from multiple school districts. They provide instruction in preparatory programs that are either too expensive or too specialized for school districts to operate individually. Tenino School District partners with New Market Skills Center in Tumwater. Visit their website by clicking on the logo below.
Running Start is intended to provide students a program option consisting of attendance at certain higher education institutions and the simultaneous earning of high school and college/university credit. Students in grades 11 and 12 can take college courses at South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) or Centralia Community College. Learn more about Running Start by visiting the links/logos below.
