COVID-19 Letter to Families Dear Tenino families, We wish to provide families with health tip reminders and information about the respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus known as COVID-19. By doing so our hope is to avoid unnecessary drama while remaining vigilant and communicative. We understand that the spread of the virus to new regions around the world and the heightened media attention is concerning. We want to assure you that the Tenino School District is continuing to closely monitor this situation. The district is also communicating with state and local health officials, as well as the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and will continue to follow their professional guidance. As we learn new information, we will continue to provide you with updates. To read the entire letter click the link below: https://5il.co/ddt7

We encourage you to check your child for head lice over the 4-day weekend. Schools see a peak of cases after a vacation break. Even if your child’s head is not itchy, it is a good habit to check your child’s head at these times. If you find any evidence, please treat them before they return to school. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Peters, RN at (360) 264-1406.
