Dear Tenino families,
We wish to provide families with health tip reminders and information about the respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus known as COVID-19. By doing so our hope is to avoid unnecessary drama while remaining vigilant and communicative.
We understand that the spread of the virus to new regions around the world and the heightened media attention is concerning. We want to assure you that the Tenino School District is continuing to closely monitor this situation. The district is also communicating with state and local health officials, as well as the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and will continue to follow their professional guidance. Ms. Shepherd and her students shared information about our upcoming STEAM week, a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Steam Week is Feb 24 through Feb 28.
